Media Center
Looking for a good media center build and a good television. I'm not particularly concerned with high frequency television but it would be nice to have something bigger than 30" at least. I need a new tv + computer combination to replace my own computer which I formerly had hooked up to my 60" viera, the more money I can save the better but it's important that the television/projector etc. is big enough my room-mate can see it. Any ideas would be helpful.

Re: Media Center
Any old computer can be used as a media center, they ain't the most demanding on machines, I just use the old crap I don't use in my main rig anymore, and I have my HTPC powering two TV's currently.
If your going to do a new build, then look at a small case (you can get HTPC cases), low profile video cards etc, and look into passive cooling so its quiet.
And when you do get it up and running, look into XBMC its awesome.
