Default A bit miffed with in game lag

Hi guys, ever since i started using directx 11 i've been getting some bad in game lag whilst playing Darthmod (empire & Napoleon)

Obviously it comes down to my hardware and performance, however i would of thought my graphics card and set up would of been overkill to play the game, im playing on the highest graphic settings, i've reduced it to a mediocre setting, still getting the same lag.

This is my rig at home, i have just ordered more RAM, which i think is my issue but i'll let you guys be the judge of that.

Sapphire HD 5870 1GB GDDR5 Dual DVI HDMI Display Port PCI-E Graphics Card

    G-Skill 4GB (2x2GB) DDR3 1600MHz Ripjaws Memory Kit CL7(7-8-7-24) 1.6V

    Intel i7 930 2.8GHz Socket 1366 8MB L3 Cache Retail Boxed Processor

Asus P6X58D-E X58 Socket 1366 Gigabit Lan Tripple PCI-E 8 Channel Audio ATX Motherboard

everyone else i know of with empire on large battles has a similar set up (only difference i have less RAM but gets better FPS on high settings then i do

if it is the graphics card im looking at upgrading my set up next year and would love an overkill graphics card so i dont have to worry about it again open to suggestions/recommendation

Empire and Napoeon only support dx9.

About lag, http://forums.totalwar.com/showthrea...4xr2-must-lagg for a good read.

well that explains it then, 64 bit systems not supported.

awesome so i will never experience it on full settings because of the CPU single core size isn't big enough
