    Default About the Conqueror Traits

    I had read the post by dvk and I have a few doubts. First off, what is a "counter" trait and how does a character gain it? Secondly must only one general with one army capture 8 of the required settlements or can multiple armies with only a single general count? Also many times I find all my good commanders gain the political general trait and reduce their command ratings, how do I prevent this?

    @Secondly;

    It's all about the general - no matter in which army you put him - as long as he's the leader of the stack

    My successor gained the Conqueror of Dacia a few turns back. Because Dacia only had a few cities, he took over 3 or 4 and then I sent him over to Anatolia to initiate my campaign against my former protectorate, Pergamon. Two turns later, the Dacians broke their truce with me when their capital city, under my rule, rebelled. I immediately sent two stacks to conquer the city as well as their last stronghold, without my successor. Once that was done, my successor over in Anatolia gained his Conqueror of Dacia trait.

    Thanks guys, I finally got the Conqueror of Carthage trait for my general, turns out you just needed him to take a few cities and the capital.
