Directx 11 and Shader Model 4+ not there.

Hi, I have a Nvidea Geforce 550 ti, 4gb of RAM and a Intel Dual core 2.4Ghz processor.
The graphics card supports Dx11 and Shader Model 5 but for some reason Dx 11 is greyed out and all shader models above 3 are not there. Also, I am only able to play the game on like the lowest settings.
Why is this?

Let me guess, Optimus Technology.

In Nvidia Control Panel, be sure it is set fr Maximum Performance, not Auto, Power saving, etc.

Anything else, post your dxdiag.
