Default This is the messiest forum ever.

I downloaded this mod a while ago but couldn't bare to play the game with the vanilla units of every faction other than Rome since they are so pathetically unrealistic, so i was just wondering what other things have been released for this promising looking mod other than the Roman skin pack.

We are all in the same boat, Dayve, waiting for more. Waiting. Still waiting because after these skins it hard to accept anything other than perfection.

    Take care

i implememnted webbirds skins to make the transition a little better.
Sure I've been called a xenophobe, but the truth is Im not. I honestly feel that America is the best country and all other countries aren't as good. That used to be called patriotism.

Hey Sulpic, i just tried the latest Darthmod and it's so unbelievably historically inaccurate i couldn't bare to play more than 10 minutes of it, especially since the skins were mostly vanilla. I think i'll just have to wait for EB... It's the only mod i can tolerate, every other is just too unrealistic.

Maybe but for sure this is the neatest mod around, what do you prefer?
Also the faction previews are the best around.

I have tried most mods, allot of them are inconsistent are full of bugs or have fatal CTD's.

If you want a good realism mod you should defenetly try RTR gold.

well i think it will be worth the wait. we are all in the same boat. what i am getting abit conserned over is that (PROMETHEUS) is looking for an hair? so early on in the mods development. um one has to ask why start the mod?, if there was any doubt in finishing it?

Yes i did down load darths new mod Um, i did not think much of it, the skins were ancent, and lots of vinilla.YUKKKKKKKKKKK....
Proms are by far better .I have not played res Gestae sinse i down loaded it, i cannot play and get a sence of the game cos of the vinnilla stuff.
ill wait till the mod is finished, however Med 2 is out in november so that will be a game that i will give lots of playing time too, i hope Res is out be for then,LOL

I went with Darth because, I believe, he is helping to balance RG and wanted to get a feel of what the battles might be like.
The campaign will be different as Prometheus has a different script and other ideas.
Historical accuracy I leave to Prometheus.

With the amount of work Prometheus has to do ,coupled with his attention to detail, I expect a long wait. A wait that will be worthwhile.

    Take care
