MTW II Gold, Kingsdoms won't start

Hi,
i bought Medieval II Gold today.
After the installation of MTW II and Kingdoms, i instantly patched to 1.5.
Medieval II works fine, but Kingdoms.exe won't start, i always get the message that i inserted the wrong DVD.
I found an replacement exe online, replaced the original kindom.exe, but it still doesn't work.
Kingdoms starts only a few seconds and then closes with an error message with an little yellow "X" without any text.
If i start the Launcher.exe it istantly delivers an error message from windows.

What Windows version?

What patch did you download? Make sure you have the right 1.5 patch for your version as there are several avaliable varying by region and gold vs. non-gold. Have a look here:

Try the 1.5 German Gold.
