Drag formation wont work

Dont know if this is supposed to be in the bug thread since its not a problem related to the mod. If so then by al means move it. Anyway, the issue is that I can no longer drag formation with the right mousebutton. Has anyone here encountered this problem before?

I always held down shift while right-dragging. Is this not necessary?

I have always just held the right mousekey and dragged the formation.

i do it the same way as eddie simply click unit hold right button and drag, sometimes doesnt work right in settlements though.

eddie check your mouse config if your using a gaming mouse, it would have its own application just in case, then head to the options menu in the main menu for mod and check gameplay settings might be sumthing there

Im using a regular mouse and ive already looked through the options menu and reset my keyboard settings to default. Still it wont work...

Is this during deployment? Some settlements there are vast areas where units refuse to deploy. Test by single-right-clicking there, see if you can get the unit to deploy there without formation setting. Some spots they won't no matter what, or might get stuck on the walls or whatever. Generally this is fixed once the live action battle starts.

Units can't be drag-formed if any part of the resulting formation would end up in an invalid space. In settlements this is... easy to have happen.

Yes, and it's even worse in custom settlements.

in fact in custom settlements such as rivendell your better off jump hitting start as soon as you go to deploy since you cant really 'deploy' anywhere interesting
