The gist: An Iranian weapon factory in Sudan was blown up, and Sudan accuses Israel for the attack.
From the article:
"The Sudanese government is blaming Israel for an explosion at a munitions plant in Khartoum early yesterday morning that Israeli media say was owned by Iran's Revolutionary Guard and made arms for Hamas."
Their goverment said it's not rebels or insurgents because of the high tech used in the attack.

Can't say I would be suprised if Israel did that, can't say I would be suprised if it is bull and Sudan is blaming it's own incompetence with insurgents on Israel. According to the article, Sudan hasn't shown any concrete proof yet.

Its plausible but then again it IS a weapons factory in the high tech and obviously safety conscious Sudan so what could possibly go wrong?

Being Israel has been blamed for just about everything bad that happens in the surrounding countries, its a non-issue without proof. After proof its also a non-issue.

It is not the first time that Israel drops bombs on Sudan to destroy weapons convoys, so them blowing up a arms factory supplying Hamas is not far fetched. But even if it is the case they have the right to do so.

So do Egyptians who were beaten, shot and killed by American trained and armed security personnel have the right to blow up American weapon manufacturing plants? Are the citizens of countries affected by NATO weapons justified in attacking relevant targets across NATO countries? More to the point about Israel: does Palestine have the right to start sending suicide bombers into General Dynamic and Lockheed Martin factories?

Perhaps wiping America and Russia off the face of the planet would be a good start for vengeance?

I actually support Phier as far as this particular thing goes. Were there to have been a malfunction that resulted in the facility's destruction, for whatever reason, Sudan would be just as likely to blame it on Israel. It's a credible story that few people would disbelieve.

For what it's worth I consider it entirely reasonable to assume that Israel is in fact behind this and if they are I can't say I blame them. Fact of the matter though is if it's anything else the Sudanese government would not waste the opportunity for a bit of jewbashing either.
