As well as being hard to enforce, how do we punish it? Because what if, say Tyrell made a watchtower on my border? We would have to replay 8 or 9 people, or else it will always be there (unless there is a way to eliminate it via the console)

Watch Towers can not see hidden units so even if we keep them it is possible to miss entire armies.

Oh, and i want watchtowers too as they save time... just not spammed to prevent fortbuilding

I'm sorry but the rule is staying. Those who have played if there are watchtowers up you will be punished financially so if you need to redo your turn do it now.

The same things were said about the 8 unit fort rule in the other one. Trust me you will soon not rely on the towers.
So you don't see everything on the map and run into an army. So what? It's just a game and I enjoy unpredictability like that. At least much more then everybody knowing where everything is and a battle of forts. Honestly where is the fun in that?
If there was a way to eliminate reloading that would be the best game imo.
