Tyrell ive never played, but im very torn between em and Tully

Recruiting everywhere for GJ/Martell
Stannis cant make galleys everywhere, nor GJ longboats everywhere imho

Agreed.

And neither Tully nor Tyrell have awesome chars really. Tully has the Blackfish, and that's pretty much it. Tyrell has Garlan, and he's the only awesome char they have in my opinion.

Randyll Tarly is a good general (not a very nice character but definitely one of the best fighters/generals in Westeros)

I disagree with the Longships, Mith was perfectly happy to keep them when he took Greyjoy in Tango yet now that he may face them he wants them to be limited.

I was/am not perfectly happy with it but i did not think of it, i had never before played the mod.

A longship is about as good as a galley but cheaper, possible to recruit in 4 ports already (and any new captures) while galleys are usually available only at one. Its impossible to match for any faction but stannis whom is also OP unless tweaked (able to make galleys in any port).

Get going with either of those factions and one is neigh unstoppable.
Recruiting everywhere however is a balancing needed long term, for martell at least

Gj can manage if he gets to keep his ability to make longships everywhere but that still leaves Stannis and his galleys

One thing needs changing though and that is the recruitment limitations on the Dragon Boats, they can only be built in certain level ports which the Iron Islands does not have so these need to be buildable outside the Iron Islands (even then they can only be built in large cities).

I can accept a limit on the Longboats but only if you make me capable of recruiting sailors.

Regarding recruit units I don't mind and I'm martell haha. Plenty of hotseats do without it and martell/greyjoy seem to do just fine. I see the argument for it but I don't think it makes that big a deal.

Regarding ships I really don't mind either... Sort of the advantage for greyjoy/stannis for lacking funds in the beginning.

AFAIK almost every westeros hotseat lets martell/greyjoy recruit from everywhere
