Third Age on S2/R2 with Assembly Kit possible?

Hey i wanted to ask if by any chance it is viable to do awesome mods like this with S2 or R2 and the assembly kit?

and are there plans to transition over? better graphics, more possible features.. i dunno just wanted to ask if there are considerations in that direction

my question is if the assembly kit changes anything about that. It aint that hard to read properly.
Thats a question you couldnt ask one month ago.
I know King Kong said once that Shogun 2 would be interesting in terms of hero units for example but at that stage it was impossible to mod. Now there are more possibilities with shogun 2 and i think you reach the maximum you can do with the medieval 2 engine at some point.

it would just be sad if CA puts a lot of work into modding tools but the great modders stick with medieval 2 nevertheless. Its quite an accomplishement that a game has still a big modding scene after 6 years but it wont last forever.

We don't know what King Kong's plans are but it seems unlikely to start again from scratch (on every possible way) after he produced such a great mod for M2TW. As we don't know what he is gonna do it is quite pointless to have this thread opened any longer.
