Default Dealing with agents and prisoners

One thing I would like to see added in RTW2 is better ways to deal with agents other then agent vs agent. Maybe there could be buildings you could build like the secret police HQ from Rome 1 that greatly improves the chances of enemy agents being detected and imprisoned. Also maybe watch towers could make a come back but be part of the infrastructure (like roads) only they would be placed automatically in strategic locations. Also I think it would be great if there was a prison/jail system where you would keep generals you captured in battle and agents you capture in you territory. You could have several options for your prisoners, you could execute them, ransom, or torture them to try to get information out of them. Crusader Kings II had some superb prisoner management features that kind of reminded me of Medieval 1.

I like it, it gives the player an opportunity to build another layer of security to defend against agent incursions.

I think we'll see something like this, I'm expecting that unless I kill a rebel general, he may well be sprung from jail to lead another army against me!

I see no real downside to this, so it has my support. What are some examples of eastern and barbarian versions of this? Or would it be more specific to eastern factions?

Why make a distinction between factions? To imprison and torture/ransom should always be an option:O would be a great addition IMO Maybe by torturing them they the fog of war could be lifted from a certain region for some time, one or two turns The chance of them talking could hang on something like shoguns loyalty-system, low loyalty = bigger chance of them speaking while your most loyal men wont utter a word

Oh where you talking about the building?:O if so, my bad.. I thought you where talking of the mechanic as a whole

Barbarian factions could send people to be roasted by the druids

    A wise idea indeed.
