Shogun 2 Battle Graphics change?

Hi,
Every time I play Shogun 2, it normally runs fine, battles playing at the high settings. However I am only able to play 1 battle at high settings on the campaign. For some reason, whenever I play another battle after it, the graphics go all weird (blobs for men when zoomed out and low textures) even though the graphics are set at high.
Anyway, when the graphics go like this it always crashes. Does anyone know why it does this?

You're running out of memory would be my guess.

Yep, running out of memory.
Run Microsoft Update manually and install all software options starting with Service Pac 2 will help.
http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showthread.php?t=238484 is a must for 32bitOS.
A free copy of Game Booster will help.
Updating the X-FI drivers at www.soundblaster.com amy help.
www.nvidia.com has newer graphics drivers and may help.

The next step is investing in a 64 bit OS, preferably Win7/8.
