Crusader Units for France

Hello gents, I've been playing a campaign as France and having conquered the holy land, how I might go about changing the availability to some of the Crusader States units so I can mess about with some new toys without starting a new game.

Apparently you need a chapter house. So if you can add them to certain settlements you want, you should be set.

Most of the Crusader States units are not available through chapter houses. Only some of the Knighthood Orders. If you want to use Crusader States units as France, it's a bit more complicated because the textures, sprites, and UI elements for those units are not available to France. So if you simply try to allow France to recruit those units, you will get default textures (silver surfer) and default unit cards (peasants with no description).
