A question about the huge siege battles...

Will and should we be allowed to save our progress mid-battle since the battles look like it'll take 4 hours to do?

I'm not good at explaining details, but obviously... if you do save the battle, you won't be able to do anything on the campaign map until the battle is finished.

What do you think?

I kinda want to go more in depth, like actually requesting that the battle go on hold (to the other general). And the enemies generals traits will dictate the answer that you receive.

I kinda like this idea. Offering a temporary truce and continue on a later date. it sounds good but how would it be implemented.

I would love big siege battles to last 4 hours, but ca would not do that. Battles happen way to fast.

I voted yes - often I run out of time whilst playing TW and if I'm in a battle I have to lose progress. it should be like any other game for me - some of us have busy lives and can't play for hours on end.

If someone chooses to abuse that and re-load a past save (if they start losing the battle) then that's just the same as restarting a battle which people can do now.

So for me yes we should be able to save, purely so we can continue at a more convenient time!
