How so? I did a uninstal/reinstall of RTW BI first. As for part 2 I did set the pathway to "The Creative Assembly" instead of Activision. I still got the same result. What am I missing?

I would be interested in hearing from those who have successfully installed the game. What worked for you?

DO this, install part 1. them create a file on your desktop and install part 2 in there.them copy all the file in that folder and paste to the Rome - Total War\rio\data

Is simple the part 2 creates a new RTW/data file inside the RIO file. look for it take all the data and drop it inside the rio/data folder

I appreciate the hint. I did exactly as you described but I still was not able to get it to work. The IB VGR II title screen opens but when I try to open a single player game I can get to the choose your faction screen but when I select a faction and hit go it just cycles back to the select game type menu.

Okay. Try the torrent by Gigantus But make sure your rtw bi folder is in the Exact same route as where you are downloading the VGR-rio folder Sometimes people install their rtw bi folders in C:\Program Files (x86) but The VGR II mod will install the rio folder in in C:\Program Files. Those are two different routes and may be causing your issue... Let me know Lioneljoe

Thanks for the hint Rio. I'm traveling today but I will try this tomorrow when I have some stability. In the meantime, I was able to successfully re install the previous version. I play you mod all the time while I travel for work. I wouldn't want to be without, even if its the older version.

but your patch2 has problem because it will install by itself and does not let me install by myself! it will create another rome totalwar while i have renamed totalwar folder! so i cant install but i extract and pasted it is it OK ?

and also by this too it gave EROR when i click on start campaign it say "select one campaign from the list" .......dont know whats the less and whats the problem?

Yes extract it or paste it is fine. The other alternative is to download Gigantus torrent okay?

Hi TWmodding. This is a new one. Delete your current install and try installing your VGR mod again. Make sure it installs into your RTW-BI folder and its updated to 1.6. Let me know

It could be. Yes I would suggest re download a new upload for the mod.

I get to the title screen then go to main campaign. it says to choose an item from the list when there is no list. I click ok and go to the provincial campaign and it does the same.

I am getting the same issue as Flavius. Ive uninstalled all files of the mod and tried to re-install it from the download yet same message every time.
Copy of RTW and BI is current and fresh since I only reinstalled it today.

Also since I dont really know much about computers, breaking down your recommendation into simplest form would be super!
