IB VGR II DOWNLOADS: DOWNLOAD INSTRUCTIONS

Downloaded and installed. Haven't noticed any differences with version I at first sight. So this line should be exposed in first post.

Version II changelog:
- map corrected
- soundmod corrected
- no sprites version added as default
- cleaned texts
- added missing textures
- name changed (units?)
- navigable rivers added

That all should be in the Download I posted or you didn't install correctly. If you have compatible files delete them

I have Gigantus torrent upload I need to add. It contains sprites so after you Download it you can simply add the non sprites This might help. Hopefully tonight I'll get the torrent up. Lets not give up

Yes, It should be fine. switch over the no sprites file.

Extract to your desk top
Click on the extracted rio folder
Copy or paste it in your RTW folder
Load up the game by double clicking the executable file inside your rio folder

Sorry for asking this but how will the game be different without the sprites?

I deleated the old Rio folder then downloaded the media fire to my desk top and executed part 1 and II.
Then I tried the zip file and still didn't work

In both cases the program opened but when I tried to start a new campaign it would take me back to the main menu. When I closed the program I had the following error message on my desktop

"Script error in Rio/data/world/maps/campaign/barbarian_invasion/descr_strat.text, at line 6414, column 1.
Settlement specifies port, but this region is not allowed a port -can be ignored but port building will not be created for this settlement!"

How do I check if I have virtual files and what should I do about it? Would this mean that I should uninstall/reinstall the RTW and start again?

When I do the install I just need to download the first 4 media fire downloads into a folder on my desktop and then install? Do I need the Gigantus Torrent or the other downloads? Thanks in advance for helping.
