I have this lap top also and use it to work on all my on my mods
If you are not careful files will download on your Programs Files (X86) Hard drive and not in your standard Programs Files thus causing issues..can you look see?

Hi Rio... been out of town.

I checked and the basic The Creative Assembly/RTW did install under the Program files (x86). So that's where I installed URG.
The good news, I got it working by cheating. How? I deleted all files under the Rome Total War folder then copied and pasted the UGR files from my old ASUS and pasted onto the The Creative Assembly/RTW folder on my new ASUS laptop.

Its unorthodox but it works. However, I am running under the Program Files (X86) folder.

Hi to all! i simply luuuve these games (not only games but really a lesson of history). I have a donwloaded copy of Rome Total war 1.5 (bought from Gamefly). I am trying to install this mod but at 30% of the installation happens this message:
IB Ultr Gloriam Romane has not fully installed because of the following reason:
File corrupt or unreadable
rio\data\mod_0. pak

I allready played with other mods, this is the first time thie message appear. The copy of RTW gold edition is clear but when i try to update to 1.6, after updated it ask me the cd-rom! so i dont update it.
Thanx in advance for any answer to help me to play. Cheers

I think you need to download the 4 parts into a separate folder before installing into the RTW folder.

-You must have the 1.6 patch Barbarian Invasion (RomeTW-BI) to play or any of these mods on the forum

i've done everithing i do usually to play other mods! :-(

Even I have the RTW gold edition (plus barbarian invasion) installed, when i try do install the patch barbarian invasion 1.6 it says that it cannot find barbarian invasion o my pc! :-(
Is the same with medieval total war II! when i try to install the Kingdom expansion, it say that i don't have the MTW II installed.
Is strange becouse with my version of RTW gold edition i can play with other mods (Rome Total War - Viking Invasion 2 mod, Rome Total War - Viking Invasion 2 - Dominion of Britain, Rome Total War - Invasion Barbarorum - SOMNIUM APOSTATAE IULIANI V1.0, IBFD7, ecc.....)

ok then follow this=
DL each of the 4 uploads to a folder then Install

-So all 4 files are in the same folder(must be in the same folder) then click on the IB VGR (exe) file to install

-Patch
Extract to your desk top
Click on the extracted rio folder
Copy or paste it in your RTW folder copying over all files

i properly use and play to the b.c modes and the other! only this one makes me crazy to use!!! when i install it (IB VGR) in my RTW folder, it always stops at 30%!!!!

It should work if the 4 parts are all in the same folder when you attempt o install

I'm wondering if you DL was corrupted

I would suggest deleting your current vgr mod completely and re downloading the mod from the upload site and install again
