    Default Constant Crashing

Hey, I love Total War, play both Shogun 2 and Empire, but lately I got board and overcome with anticipation for Rome II so I bought Rome TW on Steam. I don't have any glitches with the other games, which are obviously a lot more graphically demading than Rome, but Rome randomly freezes. Sometimes it freezes as soon as it gets to the main menu, sometimes a half hour later. Its really annoying because it completely freezes the computer and require a hard reboot, waisting a bunch of time.

    Windows 7 64 bit
    Q6600 quad core
    ATI 5970
    4 GB RAM

How do I get rid of this problem?

I have moved your thread to the Tech Help where it should be. Please use tech help for questions of this nature.

I did verify the game cache. It said everything was ok, but obviously its not.

Delete the Rome folder and reinstall. It may work.
If not, post your dxdiag. This game engine is older and crankier.
