STEAM Problem

Ok i got this problem trying to start steam..after i click the icon steam updates 0-99% then stops (on 99%) then i get ""Failed to write output file SteamUI 2005 package'' Steam forums say to delete some files but it's not working for me & still waiting for response from my ticket. Just wondering if any1 here had this problem & had any info. I tried removing/reinstalling but i get the same error. Sry if i'm on the wrong place for asking but can't find much help from goggle etc on this subj.

try to remove everything with ccleaner and install again

Navigate to the Steam installation directory, and delete everything but steam.exe and the steamapps folder. Then run steam.exe and everything will redownload. That usually fixes all errors.
