Well done to CA for Rome Total War II just after seen the screen shots and look pretty good dam goodbeen a Total War fan now for many years and love the games.I'm just wonder after when Rome Total War II comes out will it be last i certainly hope not.
I love to see more Total War adventures right down through the of Military History they just get better every time what are members views on this.

Why would it be the last? If Rome flops, then maybe, but if it sells well we will see many more.

I doubt it biggles. Lets see there is the Imperial expansion, The Barbarian fall of the western Roman empire expansion. The Roman eastern empire fights back expansion.
Yes there is a lot of Rome to work through for CA yet.

And what about all the areas and time periods they did not touch? like china,India,early Persia, and those countries bellow china all of them have important historical roles and well documented histories.

Indeed, but the problem is that your average gamer can't reference these eras as well as the Roman period(s) and the Medieval Europea/New World later eras. We'll always have games targetted for ease of access and interest, IMHO.

I just hope CA doesn't become a cash cow that SEGA would start milking.
remember the first COD Modern Warfare game? boy that game was so much fun and still is but as time went on... that game began to become more and more retarded. Now look at the COD franchise, every damn year it is the same putrid pieceas the last and you get charged like 70$ for it + they have that elite thing going on that you have to pay monthly.
screw that! TW series have a lot of potential to be good games if the Devs take their time with it, so even if I have to wait an extra year for a better game then I will wait 2. No Problem, the day TW dies is the day they do the same crap as Infinity Ward did with COD...

I doubt it. There's still so much more to do...Imagine a Three Kingdoms Total War, or something comparable?
This series is far from done.

Yes. After Rome II, CA will abandon the PC market and refocus on consoles instead - no more mods, no more disgruntled TWC'ers, more profits from console players! They will focus on the series that truly matters, Total Warrior.

since technology evolves I dont see any reason why there wouldnt be rome 3 in the next 10 years or less, they said several times that they have the possibilites to creat even better games but they are limited by the market of players/users that would have to keep up with hardware....
so they are limited in a way that have to create games so that most of ppl can run it at least on minimum , only few and rich have high end computers...since technolgy has greatly improved, we can only expect even more and more ....
