Editing Dismounted Mailed Knights to look like Mailed Knights.

I'm playing Stainless Steel 6.4 and I've noticed that the Dismounted Mailed Knights use a different model than the regular mounted Mailed Knights. I've been trying to mod it so that they use the same model but I've ran into problems. If I merely change the model in the export_desc_units then my dismounted units carry the big awkward lance of the mounted unit on foot instead of using their sword.

So, that didn't work, so I started doing this tutorial (linked below), but I don't have milkshape, the trial version doesnt work, and it keeps asking me to buy it.

So,

If anyone would be willing to simply mod the dismounted mailed knights to use the same model/weapons as the mounted units, that would be great... otherwise, are there any alternatives I can use besides milkshape, or any way I can get the trial to work?( It keeps asking me to register).

Well I've heard that on the internet, there are ways of getting around paying for software. Not sure what that way might be...

you dont have to change it to look like mailed knights since they look like anyway. use a better model
