Can't install core files 2.0

Hey, im having a problem installing the core files 2.0. I select the destination and everything but when it tries to install it hangs for around 2 minutes and then comes up with the error message " The system cannot read from the specified device". Does anyone know how to fix this problem as this mod looks amazing . Sorry if someone has already asked, its late and i can't be bothered to scroll through a bunch of pages looking for an answer :s

try to download it again, the file may be corrupted.

It's possible the installer was corrupted during download, it's actually a common enough occurrence sadly. Usually if it corrupted it will give the "Can't read .CAB" error though, so I'm not entirely sure.
