Very long turns

Great mod but i have one problem with it, i been playing an England campaign but as i got to around turn 25 the turns take forever to finish, same with other factions. any reason for that? its kind of a deal breaker for me.

If you are vet with Stainless, long turn times are the norm. There are a couple of turn time submods that tune it down, but with the massive amount of scripts going on it's pretty impossible to get it back to vanilla time without taking out most of the scripts. You could do something while you wait. I myself read my books. Am currently reading Game of Thrones. Great read, by the way.

Yeah, that's why SS comes in borderless windowed mode by default. So you can browse Reddit while you wait

Also, SS shares something in common with paladins, as you can see here:

They aren't any for the Byzantines, maybe some Italian ones.

But what I usually do is read the history of the Byzantine Empire, that makes me even more determined to crush the Italians. (Especially the Papal State.)
