    Default End of turn ctd

Hey guys thought I would play one of the best mods for RTW again

So I started a Parthia campaign and now I can't get past the following turn. I attached the save file and my preferences.txt in the rar file. Tried the duplicate name one by disabling Fog of War and following AI turns but it crashes before that.

    Pc specs:
    Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-2400 CPU @ 3.10 GHZ
    8.00 GB RAM
    64-bit

    Should be enough.

    Thank you,

    BlackViper

Can you play as any other faction past that point? How did you save - manually or automatically?

well your PC is powerful enough - though multi-cores are not really relevant and memory over 4MB is not addressable  I haven't downloaded your file yet but end of turn CTD's are usually caused by the re-inforcement bug, doing something before the system has finished updating.

Turning down the graphics settings, making sure anti-aliasing is off and checking your drivers are all worth checking. Any battles? in which case you could try auto_win as a way of getting past them. I'll take a look at the preferences later.

Anti-aliasing is off, no battles it just crashes as soon as I click the turn button. I will try lowering the graphics but I don't think that's it either.

I tried all the video adjustment stuff and didn't work - my game works fine now and all I can put it down to was cleaning up my Registries. I'm now back to running the higher graphics settings (I'm no tech head but always had a gut feeling that even RSII wouldn't phase current generation CPUs/GPUs) and even with the seemingly much hated Norton AV running in the background.

The problem is not that my game is not working I am playing a Seleucid campaign and a Cimbri campaign both working fine on the highest settings I might add.

I also had variable results depending on the campaign. Rome had end of turn crashes consistently, Egypt was more varied but then everything suddently changed for the better! Good luck.
