As we see the claims of the shia bahranis and qatifis in east saudi arabia and bahrian and other groups in saudi arabia who want to to get Independence

i want to ask you and see your opinions

are you with the division of this country or against it or do you have other ideas

Im against the splitting into smaller nations anywere unless its necassary in the grand scheme of things.

Not in a million years, the entire Arabian peninsula is one nation. Screw sectarianism, do not divide countries up on the basis of religion.

Exactly, the obvious solution is just to work to remove sectarianism rather than chopping up countries into smaller and smaller states. Germany manages to cope with religious pluralism (nowadays anyway).

Besides, do they even want independence? The impression I get is that the principal demand of Saudi Shia demonstrators is equality.

Also, let's be honest, Eastern Province has the majority of the oil and gas, so they're not getting independence in a million years.

Oil is the basis of Saudi Arabia's economy. They cannot run themselves well without it.

Besides, Saudi Arabia only has 22 million people. It can run itself very well.

Also, if we're going to throw out a rule like that, the US is run much better than Ghana, breaking that rule.

I would like to see all Arabian Peninsula united.
Not sure if other nations would like to be ruled by Saudis so they should get a special status or more like make a confederation.
