Hello CA and fellow forum people,

I was thinking if Rome II could have an updated and more diverse form of Auto-Management.

By that term, I mean ability to give Generals command of their own armies. And allowing them to pursue your goals, an example of which could be you selecting Germania and telling 3 full stack Generals to "capture it" or "clean it of rebels".

In Medieval II, for example, my empire got so big I had to auto-manage everything, and even then my armies
were too many and turns took an hour at times.

Also PLEASE bring back the peaceful city view This time with bustling streets and festivals.

With Rome 2's focus on larger, more important battles and also the new Province system, it shouldn't really be required.

I would however really like a better "order queue" system on the campaign map. Like ordering a city to construct 10 units of X, then after they are trained move those units to province Y automatically.

The AI makes terrible choices. No.

Actually an auto managed general should make his own decisions. Realistically they would either be the kind of general that goes out and attacks your allies or sits in a city and ignore the rebels.

Of course in the game they should stay in a certain area and attack rebels there. If there is a city that drops in public order the general will visit there automatically.
