The newly-appointed baron of York, William McGregor, arrives outside the castle with an army of 500 men. He is cautious and orders his men to start the construction of siege engines and to set up a camp. He rides with his guard of 50 men to the baron of Dover's camp.

The welsh taking heavy casualties surrender to the mighty English army, the commander of the welsh asks for the commander of the English army and he is shown to Baron James.
"My lord, please accept my sword as a symbol of my surrender"
James looked at the man and said
" i accept your surrender but, we still must take this castle; and the lord inside isn't going to give it up easily we must take it from him."
James then signaled his men to take the prisoners to there holding cells.
The men of the English army, were so glad for a great victory in the field that they began singing "Merry it is".
"Mirie it is while sumer y-last
    With fugheles son
    Oc nu neheth windes blast
    And weder strong.
Ei, ei! What this nicht is long

The new anointed Sir Gilroy Blackburn walked with his brothers. There was no change in his clothes or armor, though he discussed with his brothers about reusing the old family coat of Arms.

"See, you must draw 3 stars on the shield, two on the top, one at the button," spoke Glenn, remembering his childhood.

"Nay, it had 4 stars, one on each corner," replied Godwin.

"And how the would you know?! It was 3 stars and a dark area in the middle, !" said Goddard, pushing his brother, who was, truly, too young to even remember.

"Aye," said Gilroy, and commanded Godfrey to find some black and white paint. Soon, the results were shown:

    House Rowan of Golden Grove

I'm fine, thank you. I have brought 500 men and they're in the middle of setting up some siege engines. Thought we might need them.

He looks on the map of Wales.

    So what is the plan?

    James nods in agreement.
"Well the defenders, who were outside the walls were out matched by our forces; and they surrendered so now we must break down the gates and take the castle".
James then turns his attention the map once more and rolls it up.
We start the attack now, we must get through those gates as soon as we can; we cannot fail our king. Tell your men to prepare for battle, I hope to see you on the field.

James exits the tent, and begins to address the men.
"Today we fight for glory, we fight for our king and for our families. Ready the catapults for today we tear down these walls."
James orders the men to fire the catapults and orders for the battering ram to attack the gates.
The men quickly fall into formations and begin the attack.

The catapults threw stones as heavy as two men at the castle walls, as they crash onto the castles walls, massive chunks of stone fall from the walls its self.
The battering ram hammers into the heavy gates, Boom,Boom,Boom! The loud sound strikes fear into the defenders hearts.
The defenders do there best to fortify the gates with anything they can, they also poured hot tar onto the English men pushing the battering ram.
James could hear the screams of his men, as they are burned by the hot liquid scorching there skin, he turns to a captain on the field and shouts

"Get those fuing ladders up you bastard!

James didn't like cursing at his men, but he was angry that the men on the battering ram were burnt to death.
His men hustled to get the ladders up, and then they started to climb them to get over the walls. It was dangerous, because the catapults were still firing into the castle walls.
James then mounted his horse, and rode to the front lines with his personal bodyguard in tow.
They mounted the Battering ram themselves, and began to push it against the gates.
The sound started again Boom,Boom,Boom! Splinters from the gate began flying off, as the wood began to get weak and crack.

"Come on, we're almost there men!"

James shouted, the men suddenly got a rush of morale and they began to fight harder and harder.
Crack! The gate finally had its toll and broke open, a horde of English soldiers poured into the gate, and started fighting the defending Welsh.
Clink! Clank! The sound of swords crashing against each other inside the walls.
James rushed into the gate and began fighting as well, the sight of him gave the men great courage, for they didn't wanna fail there king and there family.

    Men! Attack!

William led his men as they pushed the two siege towers they'd built towards the castle walls. The little bridge fell down and the soldiers charged onto the walls, screaming. William led them at the front row as steel clashed with steel.

Don't falter, men! For the king!

The welsh fight with valour, but some of the more weak-willed farmers defending the walls retreat towards the keep.

James' men push the welsh back, and continue to fight hard but there getting too ahead of themselves, some of the men break ranks and are easily swarmed.
