The Anglo-Welsh War...

[Gandalfus]

The English forces had encamped somewhere near Pembroke, to divide the army to assault different locations in Wales.

[terradon]

Baron James arrives with a levy of 500 men in tow.
"I request an audience with the king"
He said to the men guarding the kings tent.

[Gandalfus]

He is shown in...
Ah, James. Just the man I was after.

[terradon]

"My King, It's always a great honor to be in your presence"
James bows his head in respect to his king.

[Gandalfus]

He smiled.
Right. Now for the plan.

[Adamat]

Sir Harys arrives, horsed now, with 50 men-at-arms. He commands his men to set up his pavilion, and seeks out the King's tent.

[terradon]

He Nodded in agreement
"Of course my king, what would you have my men and i do?" he asked

[Gandalfus]

He gestured to the map.
You and Baron William will lead your men, and the Prince of Somerset's men, into Pembroke. I will lead the royal army into Cardigan. I Am entrusting 3000 men to your command. Do you understand?
Harys is shown in.

[Adamat]

Harys kneels before the King and nods to the baron. "Your Grace. I have brought my levies, they are ready for a fight. So am i. Tell me where my men should lend their strength."

[Gandalfus]

He nods.
Ah, Sir Harys. You shall help me take Cardigan.

[terradon]

James nods to Sir Harys and replies to the king
"Yes my king i understand perfectly i shall not fail you"

[Adamat]

"As you wish, Your Grace. Pray tell me, when will we depart for Cardigan?" The knight was a bit of a restless person, and he was spoiling for a fight.

[Gandalfus]

He shrugged.
Tomorrow. I should also think that Baron James will depart when Baron William arrives with his levies.

[Adamat]

"As you command. Do we have a plan of attack yet? How many men will accompany us?"

[Gandalfus]

5000 of the royal army. We will most likely be attacked by the Welsh prince on the way.

[Adamat]

"You could use me as an outrider, with a small retinue. A skirmishing force with fast movement rates should be able to delay the prince long enough to fortify the main force's position."

[Gandalfus]

He mused
That may be wise, to scout ahead. It can help us determine their actual strength.

[Adamat]

"I am sorry for my insubordinance, Your Grace, but i implore you to send me."

[Gandalfus]

He waved his hand.
You may go.

[Adamat]

"Thank you, Your Grace." Harys took his leave.
