Weird looking ninja
I was playing Shogun 2 about half an hour in my Takeda campaign. With Shingen selected I order him to move near Kyoto to seize it. I let him in the front of the gates to let the Ashigaka attack me. Next to Kyoto I see a Hattori ninja. But when I look better I see that he is not a classical ninja but one with a wierd mask on his face resembling a demon.I open his information scrool and at the image it show a demon ! I see on internet that ninja hero is a dlc unit. I have Fall of the Samurai with all dlc and vanilla game but not the Saints and Heroes dlc. Can anybody explain me why this ninja look like this ? Sorry if there are spelling mistakes I am from Romania at 14 years.
PS: I put a picture of him !

Re: Weird looking ninja
If I had a say in dressing up my shinobi, it would be with either a hyottoko or a tengu mask.
Or more creepily, a kabuki mask depicting a lady looking sideways. Nightmare fuel.

Re: Weird looking ninja
As Black Knight says.
When your Ninja reaches the same level he will look the same. If you watch closely you will see your monks and ninjas appearance change as they get older and more experienced.
If you watch really closely you'll see your monks giving themselves the sign of the cross after a successful character conversion. I'm sure it's a mistake using the same animation for Bhuddist monks and Christian priests.

Re: Weird looking ninja
All agents get a different look when they reach level 4, and when they reach level 6
