    Default Most Effective Way to Prevent Gunpowder Units

    I am curious as to which method is the most effective, as in easiest with fewest drawbacks, to remove gunpowder from the game.

    I know I can edit the descr_events file removing all related events but other threads imply that this could impact non gunpowder units though no specific units were named.

    I can also edit the export_descr_buildings file removing or edit the recruitment lines for each gunpowder related building, but couldn't I simply delete the buildings themselves? Or is there a possible drawback to this? It just seems faster to remove buildings than the recruitment pools for each.

    Do not remove the events.Some non-gunpowder units are tied to them aswell

    Do not remove the buildings.Some units like gendarmes and musketeers are recruited from the same building

    Why do you want the gunpowder units removed.Why bother.I mean if you don't want some of your old units obsolete you should mod these units...not the muskets

    If you still want to make them disappear edit each entry of them in the buildings file

    I don't like them either but they appear late game so why bother...
