Siphonatores Fatal Error?

Here we go again. Title says it all. Yesterday I cracked the walls and placed my siphonatores outside to burn/clear the way. Just when they shoot, BOOM (Fatal Error - Lower you Graphics). I got a brand new ATI 7770 (got it last week), so lowering is out of the question. Besides, I have played until the year 1350, and ALWAYS used siphonatores with no trouble. Yesterday (before cracking the walls) I got my pc connected and did 85 windows updates. The next day Fatal Error. Anybody?

Got your video drivers updated with that windows update?

Don't know. I don't think so cause I did that on my own a few days after I got my ATI. Thing is, I played a loooooong time with no problem.

So... did you recently upgrade your video card drivers? And can you reproduce the crash (does it always crash in that battle)? Stainless Steel System.log could be helpful as well.

Well, yesterday it didn't. With my old nvidia it was dead certain every time I used them, but it was my nvidia going bad. Another thing I got from the updates was whenever I watch a movie (real movie not tw in game movie) at full screen, after 20 minutes or so the screen goes black but the audio continues. I have to rebbot the pc from the power switch. How about that?? It only happens when at full screen. To day I'm hooked again for more updates. Hope it fixes the whole lot.

Something must be happening to my pc... I'm downloading shogun 2 from steam, doing nothing else, and it blacked out again...
