    Default Connectivity issues

Me and my friend did everything as the guide said, but we can't manage to see each other in game. We can both party up and we also have a static ping value. I have no idea what to do, any advice?

I've run into this before. Are you guys playing on the same LAN, via game spy, or over a VPN like hamachi?

I can't give you any advice on game spy since I stopped using that many years ago. But for LAN games, make sure you only have one network adapter enabled and at the top of the list if local. If playing LAN over VPN, make sure the VPN adaptor is primary at the top of the list. Sometimes I've had to fiddle with enabling and disabling the adapters too. Also, it wouldn't hurt to delete the map.rwm file on both machines.
