Trumpet sound

Hi
I noticed a trumpet sound, maybe a battlefield call within the mod, as of which I have some questions.

1. What research was done on Roman trumpets?
2. In the recording what music was used? was it specially composed, improvised, or researched?
3. What instrument was used?
4. Who did the recording?

It adds a nice and possibly realistic element to the modification. Certainly from my point of view, doing an MA in Ethnomusicology, I am always interested in what other research has been done.

The info about the music is sometimes written on the screen as you wait for the battle map to load.

Are you refering to the trumpet that sounds when you make a charge or the one that is heard just in Roman battles? That is longer and comes in three series. I still don't know what triggers that one because my troops are usually not near the enemy yet.
