    Default Cannot run Dx11

I installed a new GPU (GTX670) and used the occasion to format my PC. Now I'm encountering some problems with TW games. S2TW runs DX9 but cannot run DX11. I just get a black screen and have to kill the application manually.

Strangely enough, I'm also having problems with M2TW (DVD). I get the dreaded "Medieval 2: Total War encountered an unspecified error and will now exit" error. Kingdoms works fine. E2TW and NTW work fine as well.

I installed all Windows updates and drivers should be the latest.

    Any ideas? dxdiag is attached.

Have you tried updating the motherboard drivers from http://www.intel.com?
Have you tried these games without Daemon Tools installed? I know M2TW dvd version with SecuRom will give you fits with Daemon or any other virtual drive software installed.

Well, I managed to run S2TW in DX11 after disabling Virtu MVP.

I'll see if I can run M2TW after uninstalling DT.

    Edit: Nope..

Yes, I uninstalled DT and ensured that all my drivers are up-to-date. I even re-installed M2TW but still got the same error.

Then start a new thread in the M2 Tech forum. We'll handle this there.
