Quick questions, need a little help

Hello everyone
I've just started playing Stainless Steel 6.4 today. I am doing an early era campaign as England using the permanent arrows, Grim Reality (the light one though, not the very hard version) and the "balanced" AI.

When I started my first campaign I got the scrolls showing which sub mods I had selected in the Stainless Steel setup were being used. I could also press Scroll Lock to bring them up again. That was my test campaign to see if it was working. But now I can't. When I start a new campaign the scrolls don't show up and pressing Scroll Lock does nothing.

I'm pretty sure I'm using Grim Reality as all my generals have supply traits and such. But I'm not getting the "Nobleman's expenses" scroll when I click on the faction overview panel like I did in the main campaign. Is this because I was using Stainless Steel 6.3 when testing it, which only had one version of Grim Reality (the harder one) if I recall correctly?

Sorry if this sounds really confusing, ask me to explain further and I will. But any help would be hugely appreciated.
