Denmark superrich?

Hey Guys,

I reinstalled SS yesterday to play a Denmark campaign. The idea was to conquer Skandinavia and then reconquer the British Isles. But right now I am making rediculously amounts of money. I just conquered Skama? and Oslo and I have like 25000 in my treasury. If stuff keeps going like this the campaign will be very boring I think.

So is this normal? Play H/M, early campaign (the normal SS AI setting dunno how it's called).

Denmark certainly is one of the more easy factions.
You do make quite a bit of money in the beginning, especially because you start with all towns and no castles.
This means you won't really be able to recruit any expensive units, hence alot of money in the treasury.
Usually, your total treasury might continue to rise for a bit, but it won't be long before Norway will assault Christiania (Oslo), and the HRE will probably go for Aarhus soon. (At least, that usually happens on VH/VH).
You'll be able to make loads of money by simply conquering the nearby rebel settlements, but once the real battle starts, your treasury will soon start to deplete again.

It IS as PerXX says. But its the same on M/M also. Just go for Skara > Kalmar > Visby and Stettin and you can expand nicely. Go for Oslo as soon you get in combat with Norway, but wait until you are ready or they attack you Keep building units as soon as they are able!

Well I dunno then if I'm gonna go through with this. Most fun in a TW game for me is empire building, not spamming out armies and buildings. Maybe I am gonna try Novgorod. I loved Russia in vanilla and played Kiev in SS before (and got powned from all sides).

Now just a good background story, maybe a baltic russian empire or something....
