Favorite faction to play as?

So I've just been playing as the Tully's and realized that they are my favorite at the moment. Edmure has a full stack, which he led half of to their deaths when Kevan and Tywin smashed him outside Pinkmaiden, and Ser Brynden has Black Walder, and two other Frey's with four outrider units, and a hedge knight unit, and I must say it is extremely fun.

I mostly favor doing battles with Brynden against small rebel armies or Lannister forces. But what I want to know is what's your favorite faction? Is it relate-able to the books? And what has drawn you to that faction. It will be interesting to see if anyone chooses Joffrey, and if they do well. . . Red TWC Post?

Baratheon of Dragonstone and Greyjoy are my favorites (go boats!) cause with them you don't have any obligations to anything. I can chose to take the north, the riverlands, westerlands, reach and really anything I want. With Greyjoy the route is most often Lannisport, the Arbor, Oldtown, Highgarden, Sunspear, Tarth, Storms End, Dragonstone, Kings Landing, Gulltown and last White Harbor. I burn all these and start again, probably while sending Dagmer north to take Flints Finger and some other regions. With Stannis I just burn Renly and take everything.

Joffers is fun too, but not the most fun

I must concur. Stannis is immensely satisfying to play as. He is after all, the rightful king. It's fun to just kill everybody, since it's rare when people support you. I've only ever had an alliance with the Tully's and Martell's at one time. Quite fun though. Never got into the Greyjoy's as I just hate their current unit's but then again, I fancy chivalry over light infantry.

Playing as the Tyrells and just using heavy cav, spears and crossbows is so much fun.

Stannis is amazing. I like to pump out some guys to take the Crownlands then crush Renly. Then Riverlands or Reach until I've won.
Greyjoys are fun too.

Starks and Lannisters, however i did my first playthrough with Joffrey's faction.
I liked to put myself in the role of a supporter to his cause, because not everyone knew from the start that he was a bastard.

Joffrey and Tully are some of the most challengeing factions to play as in the current version and therefore the most fun to play!

Well, I'll tell you Arryns are NOT the most enjoyable! Well, maybe when I took King's Landing out of nowhere then it got fun...
Playing as the Lannisters is the most enjoyable, right now I own all of the Reach (except for the Arbor and Garlan is somehow still alive, took down Jaime AND Tywin, so Kevan has ordered Lord Clegane to hunt him down), I hold Harrenhal, Stoney Sept, and am marshalling new armies to deal with Riverrun. Playing as really hard and hard in battles, but yeah Lannisters are definetly the best.

So this raises a new question, what do you think will be your new favorite faction in 1.0? I honestly think the Frey's will be my favorite. It will give me time to do things right
