Before Shogun 2 was released I saw people discussing about if it was a good idea to enable VAC in Shogun 2. Now, I ask you if you think that it's a good idea to use VAC in Rome 2. Personally I don't care because I won't cheat anyway.

You say you don't care but you made the thread about this!
Couldn't care less about that. I for one like to be good at my games and usually only hours of gameplay gets u skill and fun too. Cheating is lame and it ain't fun (for me at least) if it wasn't a challenge.
RTWRM - back to basics
Well...some of us need some help here and there........
Long Live CA!!!!!!!!!!!
if vac means the ability to use cheats then I hope they allow us to. Cheats allow for fun scenarios - like giving a weak faction a powerful army and watching what they do with it, and things of that nature. Just makes the game more fun when you get bored after beating the campaign 20 times.
If you see next time a Lagger then remember that video why your game lags!
Steam Unlocker is great for getting those impossible avatar pieces in Shogun 2.

Valve's Anti Cheat. It's primary purpose is to counter hackers as far as I know. Honestly, I don't see why it matters in Rome II. I mean obvi for multiplayer it does, but in Campaign? For one thing, I should be able to do whatever the heck I want. Secondly, why would anyone care what you do in your own Campaign?
I think they mean the prompt, where you can add things like addmoney, force diplomacy and stuff
If that is the case, I don't see any detrimental factor to it being included. If you don't want to use it, don't use it. But it may be nice who want to roleplay etc.
Look not above, there is no answer there; Pray not, for no one listens to your prayer; Near is as near to God as any Far, And Here is just the same deceit as There.
And do you think that unto such as you; A maggot-minded, starved, fanatic crew: God gave the secret, and denied it me?-- Well, well, what matters it! Believe that, too.
"Did God set grapes a-growing, do you think, And at the same time make it sin to drink? Give thanks to Him who foreordained it thus-- Surely He loves to hear the glasses clink!" Rubaiyat of Omar Khayyam
yes please provides them with the cheat because without cheats
they can never won against the Roman superiority![]()
.
I saw some people saying about Single Player cheats. VAC is just enabled on secure servers for multiplayer, so if you cheat using any third party software on SP you'll have no issues I think (unless you don't restart you PC when going to multiplayer). Just people who will want to cheat on multiplayer will have problems with VAC, so I don't really care if they use it or not (as I said before) since I'm not planning to cheat cause it destroys all the fun.
like giving a weak faction a powerful army and watching what they do with it![]()
I always thought that the majority of cheating was done via exploiting game flaws and bugs?
If that's the case for Rome2, then VAC doesn't make much difference.
