Felix Baumgartner expected to jump tomorrow

I've been following this for a couple of years now. I've seen footage from his earlier ''test jumps''.

Felix Baumgartner is expected to make a the longest free fall jump in history from 120,000 feet. He'll be wearing a space suit, and pretty much if anything goes wrong he is a goner. There have been deaths and serious complications from attempts such as these.

I understand the speed record thing, kind of, but if it were me I wouldn't be looking to best Kittinger. That was at a time when we didn't even know the effects on the human body. He had/has balls the size of dying stars.

It's like reenacting the moon walk and trying to bunny hop higher than the Astronauts of the Apollo missions just because you can, now.

True, although Kittinger is on the Red Bull Stratos team as an advisor so I don't feel there's any intention to minimize his own achievements. I mean, not only did he do this but he flew nearly 500 air missions in Vietnam and spent a year as a POW. Man has balls of steel, and nobody can take that away.
