    Default Idea: Burn City

I was just thinking of ways to finish off a siege, and then I thought why not destroy the town? Now, obviously you can't completely destroy it, but is there a way to degrade it to a mere village/mot and bailey? For example, if I were to siege London as a large town, then capture it, could there be a fourth option (or just replace the occupy choice-no one does that anyways)that makes the large town go back to a village?

It is not possible to downgrade instead of upgrade, unfortunately. You can reduce the population by a lot (extermination, i believe, usually decreases the town to its lowest possible point, which is 400) but the buildings will not be downgraded to a lower level.

I know it's possible to destroy buildings after a siege; so is it possible that all of those buildings are destroyed simultaneously while exterminating the population? Of course that leaves any road system, farm system, and walls, but is there any way to "destroy" a wall from the buildings?

i think the options after siege are hardcoded, but not know for sure.
but total damage for every enemy city was not very common. it´s more a single brutal statement for further sieges to not fight and instead become vassal or pay tribute.
