    Default Reverting turn requirements in the Kingdoms: Grand Campaign mod

    Hey there, I originally posted this in the hosted modifications subthread, wherein the K:GC mod users told me it might be more fruitfully relegated to this subforum.


    My question is as follows: I really like the Kingdom: Grand Campaign mod, with the added map, factions from Kingdoms, etc, but I don't like the expanded turn requirements for buildings & units, etc.

    Is there an easy I can revert these back to the Vanilla reqs, or else a modding tool which might help me do this?

    The amount of rounds to build/recruit is defined at data/export_descr_buildings ...
    Try to change it manually, because i think there is no Script or Program which automatically changes that.

    turn requirements for buildings completion is in export_descr_buildings
    example
    material wooden
    construction 5
    cost 9600
    settlement_min large_city
    upgrades
    u need to alter construction 5 ,here it mean this building needs 5 turn for completion

    Units

    turn requirements for units completion is in export_descr_unit

    u need to alter this line
    stat_cost 1, 950, 270, 120, 95, 820, 4, 200
    the first number,i.e "1" in this example is number of turn to build a unit

    Mass editing
    Try notepad ++
    In its third tab (Search option) ,click on find ,little window will pop up ,in that wndows second tab there is option to replace and replace all, it can be used for editing multiple values
    example
    replace all values of stat_cost x with stat_cost y
    u r done

    expanded turn requirements = are you talking of multiple turns per year?
