The Siege of Ashford

Lord Tarly's men were the first to arrive to the the castle, deploying the initial barricades to surround the fortress and begin the proper battle. Lord Willas arrived soon after, bringing the full strenght of Highgarden with him, along with Lord Hightower and the King, escorted by his guard.

As the camp was being deployed, Lord Willas and the King summoned their commanders to prepare a strategy.

OOC: I would use the Riverrun one, Ashford is also stated as having 3 sides and sits upon a river.

OOC: It's literally a triangle with three points, each point having one large tower. The rest of it is crenelated walls. From the ASOIAF wiki.

Also, I'm sure warrior6 isn't even aware of any of this.

ooc: is the king with you as well in the siege? the scenario also needs to be properly RPed. there were no private messages given to me until BLAM an army literally teleported to the gates of ashford. surely there would have been some warning given to me or some talk or diplomacy. even a royal command to appear at trial. to my knowledge the king was in my home thread in ashford, http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showt...=562037&page=2 i gave him a reply and the ball was in his court to reply in the RP. he didnt even state he was leaving.

OOC: We actually have RP'd a whole a discussion about how to deal with both Ashford and the in-coming mercenary army. If you had looked around on the forum, and on your liege's thread, Highgarden, you wouldn't be so oblivious of something everyone else in the RPG is aware of.
First we caught you by spying.
Then we all messaged each other about it.
Then we all met at Highgarden and talked. The king was involved.
The Tarlys, the Tyrells, and the King are now besieging you.
The Rowans (me) are dealing with another matter.

OOC: they are all men that are free and have extremely high wages. the elephants have a upkeep higher than most knights (20,000 for 50 elephants) and so do the unsullied (20,000). these were the sort of things i was hoping to clear up when the king was in ashford. none of the men i hired are slaves. i saved them from a life of slavery.

OOC: I would like to point out that immediately after we said we were moving the army to Ashford it appeared there, there was no chance of preparing any defences and no actualy time taken for the army to move. Why state where our armies are if we can teleport them from one location to the other?

Lord Tarly rides out to meet him along with several representatives (other player controled characters).
