i mean the introduction video(gauls,brits and carths sieging romans, arthians attacking brutii etc.)

Perhaps add "-nm" in the command line of the RTW-exe-shortcut you are using (-> RTW Command Line Switches)? Doing that, the intro movies will not be played.Originally Posted by Tabor of Assur

You mean the normal video that comes with vanilla right?
But you say you don't get that far hmm, so you're getting the eb screen and just getting stuck there??

Have you already tried the escape button? I always use it to skip the vanilla movie.

i have no problem with the video
the problem is the screenshot which never gow away, in order to lad the menu screen

Try a clean install, see if you still have the same problem.
What I do, is after having installed RTW vanilla, copy the entire map and place it somewhere else, so you always have a clean backup. Then you can always copy THAT map to wherever you want, so you can install mods.

3 days late, but I think the issue is a slow PC taking a while to load EB. On my old PC it took 2 and a half hours.
