CTD when zooming in on units

I finally got RS2 installed, however I cannot have the experience of playing the game! I started the Roman campaign and when I fight Hannibal, zooming in on a block of units crashes the game. Please help

this happens to me first too.
i think your grafic options are to high. the rtw engine couldn't´t handle multicore (it´s normal singlecore for the engine). also, check some graphical option in the references.
