    Default CTD after battles

The technical help section is kinda ignored, so i will expose here my problem: every time i finish a battle in campaign and try to get back to the strategic map i get a CTD, custom battles are fine, it crashes only in campaign with any faction. The CTD happens when i click the check button on the statistics scroll at the end of the battle, the mod is unplayable, could someone kindly help me and other players with this same problem? Thank You.

    P.S. Bad english is bad

Edited (Brusilov): Thread renamed to give it some meaning and moved to tech help. The tech help is not ignored - some people are just too impatient and don't post any technical details so the problem is ignored.

This is because the engine of tw has trouble calculating army numbers, cause of the losses sustaind in battle.
SOLLUTION: when the endscreen shows where you can view who won and how many kills sertain armies made. Wait 30 secs to a minute before proceding, this way the engine can calculate losses etc. This solved about 99% of crashes at the end of my battles.

I have come across this explanation a few times, and quite frankly I find it hard to accept. We are talking about a computer program that can do a gazillion calculations a second. The number of men in a unit is a single discreet variable about that unit among how many others? Besides, the calculation is already done by the time you view it on the screen. How can the speed in which you view it and click it off possible relate to a CTD? You are glacial in your ability to process information and react when compared to the PC.

I admit its a bit silly but I don't know the exact game mecanics behind this. It's probably more complicated than you propose. Add some bad programming and you never know what'll happen.

BTW: Very big issue is a Very bad Title, CTD at end of battle is a better description of what's wrong.

Please let me know if this worked for you - didn't seem to help me. Thanks.

    If that doesn't help try:
    1. Running the executable (that's the "RomeTW.exe" or the BI or the Alex and NOT the Launcher exe because that'll do nothing) as admin, in windows xp SP3 compatability.
    2. Disable autosave and don't quicksave.
    3. disable anti-aliasing

Can't think of anything else but I had to tweak my RS2 a while to get it to work properly. Try the q&a and FAQ's
