Development preview of French empire

I did not made full preview of every units when we did France. But I did some of the new plumes and Saddlecloth, and I have added them here for reference.

Is there going to be Old Guard Chasseurs?

Also, i don't want to sound negative or anything but having a plume on a Cuirassier looks really dumb to me, it just doesn't fit on the helmet :/

Old guard chasseur is already in, see the faction information thread for full list.

Here it's only some old previews, not the full army.

As for the cuirassier and the helmet, they historically had one, and a big one.

I wasn't exactly sure where else to ask this, so I came here.

Can I request the removal of the French Marine Infantry unit? The French didn't have specific Marine units like the British; instead their regular line just played this part.

You probably already know this though, and gave the French these units for balance.

Actually they existed.

"Compagnie détachée de la Marine", created by Richelieu in 1627 as "Régiment de la Marine".
They usually served on board ships in 70 men companies, and fought mostly in colonies.
They were abolished in 1825 only, so at the time of Napoleon they were still around.

But nothing force you to recruit them if you don't like them.

Have you got line infantry with rotated bicorns in MoE? Examples:

I think we have all the French soldiers with transverse bicornes. However, the officers / musician / flag bearer often have the bicorne as you show on these pictures.
So it would be easy to modify the variants to have both bicornes for soldiers, although it would make the officer less distinctive.
