Default Strange lad in battle over time.

Greetings, i recently tried this modification and i like it very much. Although the gameplay is a bit spoiled by problems with RTS battles. All of them are beginning quite fine at highest settings, armies are clashing but framerate starts to drop over time untill the game is slide-show. I've tried to lower diffirent settings and it didnt help, i also doubt that system is at work (my PC is good quad-core 2.5hz, 4GB ram and GTX 560 ti), cause the bug appeares regardless of how many units are fighting. It may be 2 companies or two big armies. Also this problem occures not in every battle, only from time to time. Can someone please help me with that, or at least tell if anyone experience the sae problem. Thank you in advance for your time.

Can you play standard M2TW Kingdoms without any problems?

How low have you tried the graphic settings? Have you tried disabling shadows? Shadows are the biggest performance hogs; if you can do without grass, lower and/or disable it too.

I've tried lowering all of them. The most curious of all is that some battles run fine and some not, regardless of settings. I've just played some skirmsihes in MEK and some in TOTW, in MEK everythnig's fine, 2 of 3 battles of wotw went slide-show by the moment of victory. Maybe this is reffered to pathfinding, some players mentioned that.

Where was you fighting the battle? You should also try updating your graphics drivers.

Drivers are always up to date, i've noticed something however. I've changed time settings from morning to midday and played 3 battles without any lag, thats interesting. It's just custom battles i play, nothing specific.

On second thought time of day didnt affect the lag, it occured again several times. What could possibly cause it ? :\

So it happens only in custom battles? M2TW is known to be a lagy game, even if u have a monster game platform Have you tried campaign battles?

No it happenes in Campaign mode as well. Only in battles and only in time, all battles start nice and smooth. It seemes the game still need some improovments, although it is close to perfect mod i think. I've just played Empire total war, one hell of a battle 2 vs 2 with massive amounts of units and on ultra settings, not a single problem occured. I wish this mod to be the same ))

There is one thing with M2TW engine, it runs on one CPU core, so if you have a Quad-Core 2.4 Ghz for example, it uses only one of those. Be sure to lower all Graphics settings, don't use antialiasing and shadows as suggested by SF.

I've tried it all already, it didnt help. I personally think that the prblem is with AI pathfinding. I had the similar prblem with Rise of Reds mod for Generals, recently it was fixed by mod-deleopers now it is all fine. I wonder if movement is somehow connected to difficutly level, i'l try to play on easy instead of normal and see if that works.

The A.I. is definitely not the problem with my game (( i've tried everything lowest settings possible, morale disabling, easiest AI and nothing helps ((( if anyone has a slightest clue what can cause such a heavy lag in battle and only in time, at the beginning and most of th fighting game runs smooth and perfect even with huge armies. I'am lost a little i have no idea how to trace the bag, it is the only problem i have, no crashes or other troubles ever occured.
