kingdoms won't download (Steam).

Having an issue with steam, bought the gold pack and could download Medieval II: total war, but it won't let me start downloading Kingdoms, it goes to the beginning where it states creating local game cache files and preparing Medieval ii total war kingdoms files for install and does nothing until it states the connection timed out.

If my specs are of any use:

Windows 7
6 GB ram.
ATI Radeon HD 4250
AMD Athlon 2 x 4 645 quad core.
2 TB HDD

Things I have tried:
Run as admin.
Turn off firewall.
delete local game content.

Any assistance would be great.

Contact Steam. They have a hangup someplace.

Thanks, I have been attempting to do so, but ever since this morning, they have had a high traffic for tickets.

They may high traffic just because it's weekend and everybody trying to get their money's worth at once.

Sorry to bump this, but steam has been no help, support has given me no reply and my predicament is ongoing, anyone have any advice?

Steam can take a few days to answer and weekends don't count in their counting.
Have you tried changing servers in Steam?
Have you tried deleting the clientregistry.blob in the Steam folder?
