    Default Campaign Map

Well, this has been on my mind for quite some time now, but I've been wondering on how far east CA will go with the campaign map. Do you think they'll just stop at the Caspian like they did in RTW, or do you think, they'll get to Persia (e.g as in Roma Surrectum) or up to the northern reaches of India (a la Europa Barbarorum)?

The Seleucids were actually quite hilarious in RTW, mainly being that more than half their historical territory was out of the campaign map.

I'm interest to think of your thoughts on the matter.

They have said they will go further east and maybe till Baktria, but don't know for sure. I think they will reach India and include a part of the Mauryan Empire.

Hopefully the campaign map includes all of the Indus valley, I really enjoy exploring and trading at exotic locations.

Link please? If they have said this, I'd be very interested. (Or I'm just not good at trying to look things up)

Agreed. However, I'd think if they went to India, I'd think they'd be straying too far from Rome. I don't think the Romans knew India existed (or I'm pretty damn stupid). Would be awesome (or painful) for all the eastern factions though.

The Romans definately knew India existed XD, they Traded with the Mauryan Empire and Southern kingdom, as Roman coins have been found all over the coast of India

i think the map is going to be better than empire but it'll had the same mechanics like if you want to switch to other parts of the world you click the little arrow and it'll take you to the americas or india... i think they'll have the same option for rome i am imagining the map of europe to be huge but i also want a map of india and further eastern territories made clickable like empire but since like that one dude sad it should only be visible if you find out that there are people living that far out not like you all ready know where all the positions are at and stuff... my two cents

yeah I never considered the ETW style map with different regions as a possibility, but the more I think about it, the less likely that sounds. There is only one theatre, because there is only one continent being depicted. That said, this must have to be one huge campaign map, as there's going to be multiple greek factions (they'd need at least 3), so that's a lot of area taken up by potential enemies.
